Today's topic is all about how to develop a healthy mindset and I discuss the daily habits that will help you to build a healthier mindset because let's be real, our habits everyday really create our overall life. Therefore we have the power to choose the habits that we develop and keep in our lives that will in the end create our reality.

Let's get started

So what is a healthy mindset? Well it is basically the ability to calm your mind when you are stressed or under pressure. When your thoughts are all over the place and feel uncontrollable, it can be very difficult to actually move forward and to view things as they really are. True calmness comes when you actually bring awareness to what is happening in your life and also being more aware of your own thoughts.

So why is it so important to have a healthy mindset in life? Well, people who tend to have a more positive perspective on life and who have a healthier mindset, are happier people, they have high energy levels- both mentally and physically. Therefore they sleep much better and because of that, their minds are clearer and focused therefore they make better decisions, approach situations better and also prioritize relaxing more and being aware of their emotional health.

Having a more positive mindset does not mean you are required to be happy 24/7. That is simply not reasonable or realistic. However positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that you develop. It focuses on the bright side of life and you strive for positive results. When you have a more positive outlook, you work on developing more positive thinking as a habit in your life, you are constantly searching for the silver lining and always making the most out of any situation you may find yourself in, because you look for the lesson in every failure and you value the victories you have.

Let's discuss what it means to have good mental health and yes it is possible - it just takes more work on your part. No one is perfect, I definitely have days when I struggle with my own mental health and I need to work on actively improving it so that I don't remain stuck in those negative emotions. Having good mental health means having the ability to learn because you want to expand your mind, having the ability to feel, express yourself and also manage the range of positive and negative emotions that we all experience in life. The ability to form healthy and positive relationships where you know your self worth and you choose relationships that does not destroy your emotional well-being and also you have the ability and skill to actually cope with change and the unknown. You tend to adapt well and actually welcome change because you seek positive growth and depth in your life.

If you are feeling like:

You are always sad and down, confused and lack focus, have excessive fears and worries, extreme mood changes, tend to keep to yourself and struggling to sleep, have low energy and constantly tired...The first step is actually becoming aware of these factors so that you can create a positive change in your life. If you want to feel good about yourself, improve your self esteem, create long lasting personal relationships, not become overwhelmed by your emotions and able to laugh at yourself sometimes, then I have 5 daily habits that will help you to develop a more healthy mindset. Sometimes when you do feel emotionally unstable and you feel not good enough - try and practice kindness towards yourself because the feelings you have now, won't last forever.

When you eat well and you are more mindful of what you are putting into your body and you become aware of what gives your body long lasting energy and what makes you feel fatigued, you develop a way of thinking where you start to listen to what your body needs, instead of focusing on being skinny or depriving yourself of food, you develop a positive relationship with food and when you begin this journey - it also impacts your mindset. Surrounding yourself with positive people is super important too- I always preach this because from my own experiences, it is so important to surround yourself with people who actually care about you and who lift you up. Take time to practice gratitude because when you are in the state of gratitude you are only filled with love and your vibration rises. Try and avoid comparing yourself to others because we are all different and unique and we are all on our own unique journey, so be happy for other people's success and focus on your own journey.

Creating a healthy mindset is an investment into your overall well being.

Alright so let's discuss 7 daily habits for a healthier mindset.

1. Before your day starts, write down what you're anxious about, what you're excited about and what you would like to complete for the day.

2.Review your goals daily so that you can prioritize your time and also motivate yourself.

3. Planning out your day the night before really saves time and also increases productivity.

4. Throughout the day, bring awareness to what's going on in your head. This will help you to become more present in life and also to re-focus again.

5. Set boundaries around the way you use social media.

6. Start a meditation practice because this is such an incredible tool when wanting to be more aware of your thoughts and actively changing them to create peace of mind and a deeper understanding of your emotions. It also reduces stress, clears your mind and increases emotional awareness.

7. Be open to learning, because when you are more open minded and open to learning, a healthy mindset is guaranteed because you are focused on improving yourself and also developing a stronger mindset.

Remember there is no right time, there is just time and what you choose to do with it.

I hope this has inspired you and motivated you to take massive action in your life to constantly be open to improving yourself and working towards being your most fabulous self, where you focus on your happiness and how to live a more fulfilling life.
